A futuristic AI girl travels back to 1839, turning Tsim Sha Tsui upside down—this is a story about growth, conviction, courage, and love. Hailing from the future, the AI girl embarks on a "source-correction mission" to save humanity from catastrophe, journeying through time to 19th-century Hong Kong to investigate the mysterious coma of 99 children. Drawn by a magical force to Victoria Peak, she encounters a boy named W, who is playing with shadow puppets. W decides to support the future girl, plunging into a time-traveling detective adventure. The tale weaves in historical figure Lin Weixi, the honest villagers of Tsim Sha Tsui, a group of children chasing a crystal ball, and a pitiful witch with her army of scarecrows. Hong Kong Theatre Works invites renowned campus author Yin Ran to adapt his widely popular young-adult novel *The Magical Crystal Ball* into a stage play, starring Wong Hei Tung and Lo Wai Lik. This is a refreshing children's theatre piece where live actors and puppets share the stage, bursting with color and creativity, like a double rainbow.
