Amid the splendour of the Tang Dynasty, music and dance vie for glory! "Hundred Entertainments" blends ritual music, folk songs from the Music Bureau, and Western Region dance, brimming with the flavours of diverse ethnic groups. *Tanggu Baixi (唐古百戲)* takes you across a thousand years to witness Princess Wanchun (萬春公主), beloved daughter of Emperor Xuanzong, as she immerses herself in the elegant zither melodies and graceful dance movements, and studies under the renowned master Xie Aman (謝阿蠻) to inherit her skills. Step into the Emperor's birthday celebration, sharing the marvellous hundred entertainments with envoys from various nations, and experience classic feats such as flagpole balancing on the head, plate spinning, bowl-kicking from a high cart, and cycling on a tightrope. Princess Wanchun and Yang Xu (楊朏), the official in charge of foreign affairs at the Sifang Hall, become a perfect couple through their shared passion for the arts, and together establish a "Children's Art Class" to pass on the legacy of Chinese hundred entertainments. This performance is presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, and staged by the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Acrobatic Troupe (新疆生產建設兵團雜技團), offering Hong Kong audiences a breathtaking acrobatic spectacle.
