Reach out and touch the wondrous world! The magic tree is teeming with life: caterpillars wriggle, a mother bird builds her nest and prepares to hatch her glowing eggs. A forest guide leads little ones on an exploration of this magical ecosystem, where they can feel the soft caress of a giant bird's feathers. Lullabies are played on all sorts of novel and fun instruments, filling the air with gentle melodies. As night quietly falls, the moon hangs in the sky and stars twinkle, filling babies with courage to spread their wings and fly alongside the birds. In this intimate and carefree tree nest, there are no rules — babies can sit in their loved ones' arms or on soft cushions, touch everything with their little hands, and interact with the performers at their own pace. Presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, "The Magic Little Tree Nest (魔法小樹窩)" is a programme of the International Arts Carnival 2026, specially designed for babies aged one to three. From Canada, Magic Motion Troupe (魔動劇團) understands the artistic preferences and needs of its tiny audience, using ever-changing lights, puppets, and live music to create a warm and cosy tree nest — the perfect setting for a baby's first trip to the theatre and first encounter with the arts.
