"Picking Up the Price" (拾價) takes cost as its theme, exploring the struggle people face when they must pay a price. On the path of following God, it seems we have to pay many costs; at times, this pain makes us hesitate, even prompting us to ask: "Why, after believing in You, do I lose even more?" Yet the key is never about "what" price we pay, but "for what" we pay it. Out of His love for us, Jesus resolutely walked that bitter, thorn-strewn path, was nailed to the cross for our sins, and gave His life. Though the cost is great, love is greater; it is precisely because of this love that we willingly take up our own cross and follow Him closely. This concert, hosted by the Chinese University of Hong Kong Christian Band (CUCB) (香港中文大學基督徒樂隊), uses live music to explore the cost and love within faith. The programme runs approximately 120 minutes and is suitable for audiences interested in the struggles of faith, gospel music, or Christian values.
