About the show
"Footprints Under the Stars (星空下的腳印)" is an original Cantonese musical created from a parent-child perspective, produced by Creative Theatre Education (創意劇場教育). It features a joint cast including Law Cheuk-fei (羅卓菲), Wu Wing-shan (胡詠珊), A Dan (阿蛋), Lo Hok-yi (盧學怡), Yau Muk-yi (游沐宜), and Wong Hung-kei (黃鴻基). The story focuses on media literacy, campus inclusion, and intergenerational communication, using a group of students' confusion and choices on their path of growth as a thread to lead the audience into a world that is both real and full of imagination: when misunderstandings occur, relationships are strained, and words miss their mark, how do we identify information, understand each other, and learn to take responsibility and repair after repeated clashes? The performance drives the plot through songs and music, with a brisk pace and delicate emotions, allowing the audience to rethink the meaning of "empathy" and "respect" amidst laughter and touching moments. The musical particularly emphasises the process of "apology -> repair -> walking together": it is not about ending with a simple "sorry", but about learning to face, listen, change, and move forward together. Whether you are a parent, a child, or an audience member concerned with education and inclusion issues, you will find resonance here. Performed in Cantonese with a small amount of English, this show invites you and your family to come, step out your own footprints together under the stars, and take away a firmer sense of understanding and hope.
