SEVENTEEN sub-unit THE 8 (THE 8) and VERNON (VERNON) are joining forces under the name "V8" — like a V8 engine roaring to life, they are bringing their unique sensibility and forward momentum straight into Hong Kong! The name V8 combines THE 8's "8" with VERNON's "V", symbolising the duo's unstoppable drive. Beyond their widely recognised work within SEVENTEEN, both artists have carved out distinct identities through their individual creative output. What surprises will this concert hold? Their musical engine is already revving — come experience it in person. Since releasing his Chinese EP "STARDUST" in 2024, THE 8 has continued to put out solo work spanning diverse styles, while also expanding his expressive boundaries through "THE 8 Contemporary ART", an art film series blending music and modern dance. VERNON is not only active in SEVENTEEN's music creation but has also contributed to tracks by artists including YUGYEOM (YUGYEOM), BUMZU (BUMZU), and Drunken Tiger (Drunken Tiger). In 2024, he became a full member of the Korea Music Copyright Association, and last year joined the Recording Academy as a voting member. His self-written and self-composed 2022 mixtape "Black Eye" received widespread acclaim.
