About the show
On the day the soul finds its dwelling, we encounter a Hong Kong home never seen by the naked eye. Born as dancers, we probe into this alternate dimension with humble bodies, stepping into a home that is familiar yet different — the original Hong Kong dance film "Homecoming (迥家)", starring Wong Dan-ki (王丹琦) and Lee Sze-yeung (李思颺). Interweaving dance and cinematography, it guides audiences through reality and memory. Created between 2023 and 2026, the film captures cityscapes that have now permanently disappeared in three-dimensional space, preserving them as precious fragments of memory. Entirely without AI, CGI, or animation, it is 100% real Hong Kong locations and live-action filming, running 30 minutes and suitable for all ages. "Homecoming (迥家)" is created and directed by Wong Dan-ki (王丹琦), blending dance and cinematic language to explore the essence of home and belonging through the dancer's body. This work is both a heartfelt look back at Hong Kong's landscapes and a poetic search for the soul's dwelling — unassigned seating, Category I film, welcoming all audiences to step into that familiar yet different home alongside the dancers, in the most direct viewing experience.
