Everyone can create at least a five-minute piece! In just over a year, we've already run seven cohorts of this course, nurturing many students to take part in public performances and competitions. "The 8th Stand Up Comedy 101 Introductory Course" is organised by Laugh Maker Studio (笑星製造所), offering you four introductory sessions with updated content to train your comedic skills together. Key focuses include: discovering your own stories and emotions, learning a performer's observational perspective and mindset, mastering joke structure and common techniques, and introducing and analysing the methods and skills of renowned performers. Whether you're a newcomer wanting to step onto the stage or an amateur enthusiast looking to systematically enhance your comedy skills, this course helps you turn everyday inspiration into solid stand-up comedy pieces. The course is divided into weekend sessions (Sundays) and weekday sessions (Fridays), each lasting two hours, and includes an internal sharing session for hands-on practice and exchange. After registration, classes will be held in the Yau Tsim Mong District, suitable for participants aged 15 and above. If you're ready to start from scratch and complete your own five-minute performance in four sessions, this introductory course is your starting point.
