Some destinations in this world cannot be reached by any flight. Yu Chai-leung (余在良) has spent his life struggling for his family, yet whether it's daily trivialities or major family matters, nothing seems to be under his control. For this trip, he expresses his own opinion for the first time, mentioning a layered, blissful land — and then he disappears. This is an absurd journey in search of a loved one. From the moment Yu Chai-leung (余在良) goes missing, everyone seems to lose each other. A letter, a sealed jar, a fortune teller's prophecy, and the various eccentric characters and strange sights encountered along the way — all seem to orchestrate a play, peeling back the truth layer by layer. At the final layer lies Yu Chai-leung (余在良)'s coffin... Produced by the Hong Kong United Youth Theatre Project and starring Law Yuen-ying (羅婉熒), "Destination" takes as its starting point the idea of remembering every moment of wandering and cherishing beauty before it fades, telling the story of an ordinary family's separation and reunion on a bizarre journey. The performance has no assigned seating, runs approximately two hours with an intermission, and contains coarse language, flashing light effects, and scenes that may be disturbing.
