Life is a silent reckoning with gravity. We pile on weight through desire, sinking into the mire of stagnation. This is a deep peeling back of the folds of human nature: as sin becomes a physical pull and fall, what remains in the end — a glimmer of redemption, or eternal silence? Produced by the Fringe Club (藝穗會), the dance theatre piece *The Remainder of Gravity* (重力的餘數) uses the body as a language to explore the tension and fall of individuals caught between desire and stagnation. The work transforms physical gravity into an emotional metaphor, using the flow and pause of dance to reveal the sin and self-reckoning deep within human nature. Running approximately 50 minutes with no intermission, it leads audiences on a meditative journey of redemption and silence at a tight pace.
