After four sessions of creation and refinement in the Advanced Stand-up Comedy Workshop, nine members of the "Happy Friends Retirees Stand-up Comedy Troupe (快樂之友退休人士棟篤笑團)" are about to step onto a public stage for the first time, bringing their life stories and laughter to the audience! This is not just a stand-up comedy show, but a platform showcasing the creativity, confidence, and vitality of retirees. We warmly invite you to come and support the first cohort of students, sharing laughter with them and witnessing this important moment as they bravely take the stage! Organised by Laugh Maker (笑星製造) and led by instructor Oli Chan Yuen-yu (陳婉榆), the students have journeyed from exploring their personal life experiences and building a stage persona to creating a complete stand-up comedy show set. They present the moments of retirement life, life wisdom, and humorous observations in a sincere and witty manner.
