「觸動」舞蹈課 ( 舍區 ) 2026
Company 香港演藝學院舞蹈學院
About the show
In the heat of summer, "Touch" invites you into the community to shake off the season's restlessness through movement. "Touch" walks alongside caregivers into an arts and cultural space, finding a moment of respite from the everyday, reconnecting with the body, and rediscovering inner calm and stability amidst the busyness. Let us try to care for ourselves through dance, then extend that care to those around us—this is a dance experience designed specifically for caregivers, using bodily movement to release stress, settle the mind, and reawaken the connection between body and inner self within the ambiance of an arts venue. This class is curated by the School of Dance at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, part of the "Touch" dance series, and takes place in the community space, allowing participants to engage with dance in a more intimate and relaxed setting outside traditional performance venues. Centered on caregivers, the activity uses simple movement exercises to guide attendees away from daily hustle, finding their own rhythm between breath and motion, and extending that sense of stability and care to their loved ones. Whether you have dance experience or not, all are welcome to join, conversing through the body and healing mind and spirit through dance this summer.
