About the show

Natsuki Fujimoto (藤本夏樹) makes his Hong Kong debut as a solo project! As the drummer of Japanese psychedelic powerhouse Tempalay, he has long carved out a distinct identity in the indie music scene with his signature skewed rhythms and mind-bending drum patterns. From his first mini-album *Theatre of Start* in 2018, to his debut solo album *脫皮* in 2020, and a string of digital releases since—including the two mini-albums *PURE* and *RANDOM*—Natsuki has consistently pushed against conventional musical structures. Early on, he fused avant-garde styles like Trap, gothic, industrial, post-punk, and synth-pop, before gradually shifting toward the deeper atmospheres of ambient, dream-pop, and lo-fi. For this first Hong Kong show, he will fully unleash his grotesque aesthetic, sending shockwaves through the underground at Fortress Hill! Joining him as opener is Hong Kong electronic-psychedelic outfit TYNT. Deconstructing elements of electronic, psychedelic, shoegaze, and industrial noise, TYNT crafts a uniquely fluid, electric-hazed texture, and since forming in 2018, they've been a constant presence at major festivals and livehouses both locally and abroad. In 2026, the band enters a new chapter with a five-piece lineup featuring a support drummer, and their latest single "DEAD END" serves as a precursor to a new album, revealing a heavier, darker, and more profound direction. TYNT and Natsuki share a long-standing connection, having co-hosted the event "見えないものを見る" in Tokyo in the summer of 2023, bringing together top avant-garde musicians in the late-night depths of Shimokitazawa. Now they reunite in Hong Kong—expect sparks to fly once more!
