Participants will develop characters, craft stories, and learn how to transform the surging thoughts in their minds into script language. If you've been curious about writing plays but worried about the first step, this is where you start. After the workshop, you're welcome to stay for their double bill performance, experiencing the full cycle of writing and performing in one go. This workshop is presented by Back Yard Theatre Ensemble (BYTE), known for their original and improvisational theatre, frequently offering collaboration opportunities for actors across Melbourne and throughout Australia, with annual tours both domestically and internationally. This time, BYTE partners with Germany's JAHRMARKTTHEATER BOSTELWIEBECK and Terang Theatre Group, bringing cross-regional creative experiences into the workshop.
