"Space Fantasia" tells the story of an alien named Fung Lo-tu, who intercepts NASA's Voyager 1 spacecraft and discovers the Voyager Golden Record. In search of Bach's music, he travels to Earth and encounters Astrid, who is rehearsing a Bach suite for a school competition. This meeting sparks a fantastical spaceship journey. The two fly to Europa, the fourth largest moon of Jupiter, and perform in the "Cosmic Star Show"—how does Bach's composition transcend the stars to ignite an unprecedented encounter? The Hong Kong City Chamber Orchestra brings this family-friendly outer-space fantasy musical extravaganza to the stage, featuring performances by Wong Yui-chi, Beatrice, Kan Kiu, Pun Ki-sze, and Lee Chi-man. "Space Fantasia" brilliantly combines live orchestral music, theremin, electronic music, and integrates theatre, song, dance, digital art, and circus performance.
