About the show
On the edge of disorientation and clarity, the body becomes the guiding light that cuts through the fog. Presented by Tang Shu-wing Theatre Studio (鄧樹榮戲劇工作室), "The Seeker" (《尋路人》) is the 2025/26 annual showcase of the "PTI Professional Physical Theatre Youth Training Programme" — a theatrical experiment that starts from the body and confronts the soul head-on. First-year students stumble through exploration and discipline, emerging at dawn from the crucible of "Titus 2.0" (《泰特斯2.0》) and "Classroom Circles" (《打轉教室》). As night falls, second-year students transform into "Night Wanderers" (夜遊人), quietly waking on the blurred boundary between dream and reality in "Dream Travel" (《夢旅遊》). This is no ordinary performance, but a journey about seeking, losing, and standing up again. "The Seeker" is produced by Tang Shu-wing Theatre Studio, bringing together trainees from the PTI Professional Physical Theatre Youth Training Programme. Using physical theatre as their medium, they present the fruits of a full year's training. First-year and second-year students deconstruct and reconstruct classic works, using the body as the most honest narrative tool, taking the stage at East Kowloon Cultural Centre (東九文化中心) in August 2026. There are no superfluous words — only the tension of the body, the rhythm of breath, and the young souls who stubbornly search for direction in the dark.
