Yet a thirty-one-year age gap constantly highlights their differences in upbringing, lifestyle, and values, leading to mismatched life stages and futures. Can a single declaration of deep love truly bridge the years and bring them closer? Evolving from the "Kite Project" (風箏計劃), *Forget the Years* (忘年) was crafted by playwright Lam Chak-ming (林澤銘) over six months, vividly portraying a cross-generational queer romance. Directed by the long-awaited Shao Mei-kwan (邵美君), an actor-turned-director in the theatre scene, this marks her debut black box production. Hong Kong Repertory Theatre (香港話劇團) brings this bittersweet age-gap love story to the stage with delicate strokes and authentic emotion.
